Well it's been a real long time since i've done any updates on this. Haven't touched this project in ages and have no plans on it. Seems it's still a popular app and still gets downloaded almost daily :).
Over the last couple of years I've been hooked on playing Diablo 2. If any of you play and wanna reach me I can be found on IRC over at irc.diabloclone.org or visit our web site.
Thats about it for now and thanks for all your support for all these years (though that doesn't mean this site is going away).

1/15/2004 - Latest News Update (10:00am EST - Sagnor)
Hey look, it's a news update... Well it's almost been 2 years since the last update.
I got bored so I've moved the site to a new location http://q3build.sagnor.com. Development has pretty much come to a grinding halt on any versions for q3build as I've pretty much had taken a big step away from gaming and designing over the last couple of years. Who knows though maybe someday I'll pick back up on it. Anyways thats all for now.

Well it's been awhile since my last up date.
For the most part i have finished working on Q3Build/GTKBuild for some time now.
I do not have the latest source as I had lost it in a format some time back.
It's been brought to my attention lately about an error when trying to run Q3A from GTKBuild.
See what the batch file looks like it would be an easy fix if I still had the source, but i dont. So basically coding on GTKBuild/Q3Build has come to a halt and I do not expect to pick it back up at all. However the source for GTKBuild is available on Source Forge. If anyone wants to pick up where i left off they are free to. Looking thru the CVS Repository you'll see most is labeled Q3Build but it's really all the source for GTKBuild. If anyone does happen to pick up the project let Email me and let me know about it.

Oh and another thing if you experience any problems downloading GTKBuild or Q3Build from here just keep trying. Seems i get alot of email about people having problems. The problem is the allowed number of users to the mirror sites at any given time. (1/15/2004 should not be an issue any more since I moved the site to a whole new location)
11/25/2000 - New Q3Build and first time ever GTKBuild    (6:00pm EST - Sagnor)
Ok GTKRadiant has been out for a week or so now and well I've finally gotten around to updating q3build to work with GTKRadiant. What is GTKRadiant you ask? Well visit the GTKRadiant site to find out more about it.

GTKBuild will only work on the Win32 platform (a Linux version is being looked into). 
GTKBuild is the latest installment for Q3Build the first and only Quake3 Map compiling GUI.
As with the last couple of versions this works as a plug-in and stand-alone EXE. This version does NOT work with normal Q3Radiant as a plug-in. Look for more updates on this one in the near future.

I've also posted the most recent build of the Q3Build plug-in for Q3Radiant. This may vary well be the final version of that series.

Just a small note of the SOFBuild Beta that has been up for awhile now. I've gotten absolutely no feedback on that whatsoever so it's not being updated at all. I'll leave that beta there if anyone wants to use it. If I even start getting any feedback on it I may pick the project back up.

You can always come visit AzrKnight or myself on IRC, /server irc.telefragged.com in either #qeradiant or #gamedesign. These are good places to hang out and chat. You never no just who might pop in there for a visit.
07/18/2000 - New setup available     (6:00pm EST - Sagnor)
Seems that i had forgotten to add a new file or 2 to the setup and have updated it. If you are having trouble running the newer build but ran the old ones just fine please Download the full install. This should fix a problem with missing "mscomctl.ocx" when trying to run the latest version. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
07/14/2000 - New build available     (6:00pm EST - Sagnor)
Updated the full installer of Q3Build for the latest version. Also fixed some minor bugs that I've found over the last couple of days. Newer zip file with just the Q3Build.exe, Q3BuildPlugin.dll, readme.txt and a fixreg.bat is still available. That's also been updated with the newer fixes. (read the readme.txt). Also available is the tool_options.txt which is an overview of all the q3map.exe command options.
07/12/2000 - New build available     (2:16am EST - Sagnor)
Ok so that wasn't the last version of Q3Build. I'm not going down without a fight. This latest installment includes support for the new -vlight option in the new q3map.exe that was released with the latest Q3Radiant v2.01. Also some changes to the UI. And some Function keys assigned to different features within the app (read the readme.txt).
06/05/2000 - New build available     (9:47pm EST - Sagnor)
New build available. New feature added to the Extra Q3A Settings. bot_enable check box.
Default is checked = +set bot_enable 0. By unchecking this allows for no CD check on launching of Q3A. I got annoyed with needing to put the CD in when I just wanted to run a quick test of my maps, so I added that in. Other than that I think this is a final build since I've not gotten _ANY_ feedback on this plugin version.
05/02/2000 - SofBuild available     (added on 06/05/2000 at 9:47pm EST - Sagnor)
Forgot to mention that SofBuild is also available in the files section. Still a in beta stage pending any feedback I get. This is _NOT_ a QER Plugin version as the latest Q3Build is.
03/18/2000 - New setup files available     (4:15am EST - Sagnor)
Q3Build plugin for Q3Radiant is finally available here. This plugin only works with the Q3Radiant 197 that was just recently released. Also in this version is support for +set fs_game under Options/Extra Q3A Settings. This version has not been fully tested and will most likely be undergoing some updates. If you run into any problems please feel free to email me
Please read the following important information on the installation of this version:
At one point during the install the setup will prompt for a location to save "Q3BuildPlugin.dll". This file must be saved to your quake3's TOOLS/PLUGINS folder.
Also keep an eye on qeradiant's plugins site for future plugins that will be available.
02/14/2000 - New setup files available     (4:49am EST - Sagnor)
Due to ongoing problems with the VB setup files I have decided to go with another installer program. People experiencing trouble with the older setup file with errors about missing DLLs should download one of the newer setup files. No changes in the actual program (yet). Expect a newer version to be released as soon as the next Q3Radiant is out. More on that later.
